I saw this on Scifwire last night and I am very excited. More Bab5! Hurrah!

This was the only way to go to bring back Babylon 5 at least in movies, would have preferred a series again with a few story arcs of different tales, about 13 episodes on a cable channel would work. But now that two actors have passed away it won't be the same seeing the movie without them.

Yeah, I hadn't thought about the fact there would be no G'kar or Dr. Franklin in the movies until some friends and I were discussing this last night. It will be kind of weird.

Me too. Not having Dr. Franklin will be sad, but not having G'kar will be downright strange, as he and Lando were so integral to most of the storylines. Maybe they could bring Na'toth back as the new ambassador? I would like to see her back. On a side note, how many of you have seen the woman who plays Na'toth outside of her make-up? It is a crying shame to cover such a beautiful face!!!

BTW, folks, here are some production photos and some posts from JMS talking about the new movie. Evidently part of it is set during the 10th anniversary of the Interstellar Alliance. Some cool stuff here and the first movie is already wrapped! The post from JMS make the first movie sound very intriguing.

Liked the photos, JMS looks like his beaming being on a B5 set again. I met Tracy Scoggins at a con two years ago, very nice person.

Tracy IS a sweetheart. She hasn't always had great roles, but she did a great job on B5.

I just saw the photo's and it looks like the Lost Tales is going to be great and hay since it deals with the 10th annavery of the IA which would put it at the end of Crusade and since Galen is in it we might be seeing the Excalibur as well

Just watched B5: The Lost Tales.
To quote the penguins from the animated flick Madagascar,
"Well this sucks."
No mention of the Excalibur or her mission, which I hope was successful since the fate of the Earth was at stake.
I for one was hoping to learn how that whole wacky little plague destroying all life on the planet thing all shook out, but there were no relevant questions answered, no loose ends tied up---and where the hell's Lennier?
Also, in my little B5 fantasy, the Telepath War ends with Leta Alexander standing over a wounded Psi Cop Al Bester. She levels her PPG at Bester's head and tells him, "Oh by the way, Garibaldi says hi."
ZAP!

I don't think you need to mention Excaliber, they obviously completed their mission since ships are leaving Earth now, even the Devil is hitching a ride into space.
I did like the fact that they mention the actors that have passed away, Andreas Katsulas (G'Kar) and Richard Biggs (Dr. Stephen Franklin), there was a little nod of acknowledgement.
JMS said the DVD sold very well, unfortunately the studio was dragging their feet to do the next one, and then the writers strike happened.
