That's cool Cooky. I've had a brush with the dead myself.
In the second year of my marriage, we had moved into my ex-wife's grandmother's two bedroom house. My daughter was only 1 at the time and I was the one at home at night to put her to bed. My ex-wife was working nights.
One night after I put my daughter down to sleep, I started feeling like I was being watched. I just put it down to new home jitters. But as the night went on, stuff in the kitchen started to fall off shelves and the walls. Not all at once, but almost every so often something would fall to the floor.
About the time my ex was about to get ready to close her shop up, I got a call from her mother saying that her grandmother had died. Just as I was getting ready to call my ex to tell her the news, the photo of her grandmother fell on the floor and shattered the glass in the frame.
I picked it up and just as I did, I got the feeling I was being watched again. Without looking around, I said... "This is our house now, Elmy. You need to move on to where ever you're being called to. You don't belong here and I won't have you scaring my family."
Took a few minutes but the feeling of being watched left and there wasn't anymore stuff falling to the floor. I never had that experience again.
That's the only thing I've had in the way of ghostly encounters. I think some people just don't want to leave the world because they can't let go of it.

Since it is October and Halloween is very close at hand, the cloth between the supernatural realm and ours is growing thin and the spirits of the dead will be peering in through your windows as you watch your t.v.
Here's a site put up by a group of ghost hunters in Ohio that contains photos and videos of "supposed" ghosts. Personnaly, I don't think you can capture a spirit on film. But, I have been know to be wrong before.

May I recamend the Book Weird New England For some relative reading
Haven't picked Weird USA can anyone recamend it.

sorry, but since there has only been photografic evidence for rods/sky fish and they have disproved them as unintentional optical illusions i have to go that rte. they have no place in evelution (nothing leading to them, nothing based on them) and no physical evidence i'll have to let them go the way of fairies
