I'm sure we've all heard about the rockin' movie in the box offices, but has anyone in here actually read the comic? |

...er, yes?
I read it a couple of years ago - found it a little difficult to get into initially, because the art style, or perhaps rather the colour palette, was one I found off-putting. But it's a cracking story, and I love love LOVE the fact that it's set in England, and that it uses Guy Ffawkes as the central icon.
It's not my favourite graphic novel (Neil Gaiman and Mike Carey pretty much own my ass, and I think that Moore's book WATCHMEN is rather better than V for Vendetta), but it is very good. Worth checking out, if you're interested in comics. |

`I love it. Even better than WATCHMEN, which I also love. My all-time favorite of Moore's work is his run on Miracleman, and then Captain Britain.
I also like the V For Vendetta film. No, it wasn't much like comic-book, but I could enjoy it as a separate comics. And a really true adaptation of the comic would be better in a cable miniseries, like 4-6 hours, then in a film anyway.
