Posted: Post subject: A Question about Bloodrayne. Both the movie and video game. |

I have never played the Bloodrayne game, but heard it was quite excellent. Now, I know the movie was made by Uwe Boll, so I expect it will royally suck. However, it can't be as bad as House of the Dead, which literally made me angry due to it's horridness, AND I have seen that the dvd of the movie includes the video game Bloodrayne 2. It is actually cheaper to buy the game with the movie than to buy the game individually. My questions is, has anyone played the game, and is fun enough to actually have the horror of a Uwe Boll movie sitting in my DVD collection to buy it? A second related question would be, why the frak do they keep letting Uwe Boll make movies?????!!!!????

Yes, and I have never seen a movie so bad that I gritted my teeth through most of it. I LIKE bad movie, usually! By the end of this one, I literally tore out of the theater as fast as I could. My review on Amazon starts off with, "This movie is so bad I would sooner cut off my eyelids with razorblades and pour salt ware over my face, than watch this again." Just to give you an idea of how bad it is, they actually cut clips in from the video game throughout the movie.

This after all a man who offered to fly five of his harshest critics to Canada where he is filming an adaption of Postal. The purpose of this free flight is so that he can engage each of these five critics in combat with them for ten bouts which will be filmed, boardcast over the internet and then edited into the final cut of Postal.
Uwe Boll says ''If critics want to bring Uwe Boll down, here is their chance to physically bring him down and have the entire world watch them do it.''
I read about that. My first thought was, "I wish I was one of those five so I could take back a little of the time I wasted on House of the Dead!"
