 Posted: Post subject: New Robin Hood Series Premiere Date Announced |

Finally, the new Robin Hood series is to kick off on Saturday 7th
October, in the same time slot as Doctor Who. Jonas Armstrong leads an
all-star cast in Dominic Minghella's action-packed, witty, romantic and
exhilarating version of the Robin Hood legend. This series also stars
Patrick Troughton's grandson, Sam Troughton, who plays Much.

I am excited about this new series. I know it won't be as spiritually leaning as the Robin of Sherwood series from the 80's that was so brilliant, but it has to be better than "Prince of Thieves".

As Robin Of Sherwood was so brilliant, I had my doubts about this one and fear you are probably right about it. Of course, I will have to see it to make my own judgement, but your insights definitely give me pause.
