Nerd and sci-fi geeks flirting with each other what an interesting idea. I guess I havn't been around enough female nerds and geeks in a long time. What would the "normals" think, ah bugger them!

The "mundanes" as we call them, don't think much. If they did, they would be into sci fi!

Well, since you mention it, why not let this thread be a flirt thread for all of us. Now, where are the women?

Across the Sands of Time, along the Shores of Life, the Traveler rides on. For he knows his journey ends in lovers meeting.

Beware the beast Man for he is the Devil's pawn.
Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport, or ----, or greed.
Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land.
Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert out of his home and yours.
Shun him. Drive him back into his jungle lair.
For he is the harbinger of death.

How would you like to beam up to my ship and play Orion Slave girl with me?
Or
How would like to reenact the seen in "The Naked Now" with Data and Tasha Yar?

You ARE definitely all that is woman!
Star trek pickup lines:
Wanna make like a tribble?
Wanna see my dilithium crystals?
I want to boldy go to your final frontier and seek out new positions.
Captain Kirk and I have a lot in common. Let me show you what I mean.
That's NOT a phaser in my pocket!
I am an expert in "first contact".
I'd like to explore your Jeffries Tube.
I am sure you have experienced warp drive, but let's see if we can't experience a little impulse drive together.
You know, the Prime Directive is about non-interference, not non-intercourse.
Will you put on a miniskirt and say "Hailing frequencies open" for me?
I bet you can't guess what the Doomsday Machine reminded me of.
Resistance is futile. You will be stimulated.
I just came up with these. I am sure I could come up with more, but I think that is enough for now.

I can't help but laugh at these.
The "nomlies" (as I call them) would get the Trek pick up lines because Trek is main stream SciFi. And we've all heard the Star Wars pick up lines.
Would the "nomlies" get some of the more obscure stuff or would it be lost on both sides of the spectrum?
Look, I didn't hear any screaming or squishing sounds. |

I hate using come on lines. But I suppose if I were to use one, it would be from Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy.
"Hey baby... Why not come with me. I'm from a different planet. Want to see my spaceship?"
Yeah, I know... not as pithy as Pat's. But I thought I'd pop it in.

If someone gave me a Hitchiker's line, I would probably die of joy.
Yeah..pick-up lines are pretty cheesetastic...but they amused me oh-so much..

The funny things is, I never use pick up lines in life. But, at a con, they seem to be expected and they need to be funny and original.

Personally I've never used a pickup line but then again the last time I need one all I said was Hi and it worked but if I where to use one, one I would the line from Hitchhickers guide... and two I wold use a line from lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring, the line that I'm talking about is "Do you remember when we first meet?"- Arwen followed by "Yes it was like walking into a dream."- Aragon sorry if the lines at exactly right but those would be the ones that I would use.
