With SD's recent near-total abortion ban, the President of the Oglala Sioux tribe in Pine Ridge Reservation has declared a Planned Parenthood clinic will be opened immediately. Interesting, no? |

Is this what it's come to?
Okay, all I can do is call it as I see it, but this topic always makes me sad.
Life begins when you get one of your own, and stop interfering with the decisions made by patients and the people who spent 12 freakin years learning the healing arts, before they were allowed to work without a net.
I guess you could say I'm pro-get a life. |

The Onion once had a great Point/Counterpoint on this once:
"Life begins at Conception" vs "Life begins at 40!" |

Funny, but not helpful---this topic is yet another reason I believe all religions are evil. It is a religious objection, handed down by an old man in a funny hat living in a little world of his own, yet surrounded by Italy, home of some of the most passionate people on the planet; that irony never ceases to amuse me.
When it comes to using your holy book to justify interfering in someone elses's rights---reproductive or otherwise---it is time to have no less freedom of, but more freedom from religion.
To answer the question Bugger put to me in a recent email no, I'm not a pill; more like a suppository. Badly needed medication, jammed up society's rectom (where taste is irrelevant) so it will do the most good.
