It IS a possibility. I don't know how accurate the article below is, though.

Are You Ready For 'Doctor Who' The Film?
Producers want to bring back Rose...

By: Lowri Williams on 9/27/2006

After the success of the all new ‘Doctor Who’ TV show on BBC1, producers have decided to make a big budget film.

‘Doctor Who’ has been a big hit in America and producers are hoping to cash in on the interest there with a movie.

However, it is hoped that Billie Piper who played Rose Tyler the Doctor’s side kick will be reunited with the Doctor, played by David Tennant in the new film.

A source told the Star: “There’s been so much interest in ‘Doctor Who’ since the show was sold to America that a film is the natural progression.

“Top of our list is to get Billie on board – not only was she amazingly popular, it would be really exciting to get her back with the Doc.â€Â

But will she be up for it?...

Personally, as long as it was a good story, I would love to see Bllie and DT back together again. But, i think they should do a story from before Billie left, rather than messing with the ending we have now. There is plenty of "time" for them to work a story in from somewhere in the middle of series two.

I agree. I would watch any Dr. Who movie made with Billie, and that it could not continue from the end of here season unless it was really unique. Anywhere whithin would be fine.

I don't know, There is so much back story to the Doctor. I doubt that most movie goers would be lost watching it.
As good as Who is I don't see it as a big box office Draw, at least not in the US

Will someone shut that man up
NEVER!
