Not Jake Gyllenhall, but the OTHER actor from Brokeback Mountain, Heath Ledger.

Robin and Jimmy Olsen? .....why is it I can see that happening
As for Lois and Catwoman how about throwing in Wonder Woman into that little mix too ......and me hee hee ....I could tie them up with Wonder woman's rope of truth

As for Popeye I always thought Olive Oil could match up well with Penelope Pitstop hee hee

There's good, then there's perfect.

Writing good Superman stories involves writing about a person who has nigh ultimate power, but uses it in selfless service.

But he still has to be human. He can't be if he never screws up, never makes mistakes, is never imperfect. Humans, no matter how good they are, make mistakes.

Superman is who he is not because he is infallible. He is who is is because he takes everything he is, plusses and minuses, and still prevails, and most of the time, makes the right decisions.

But not always. He makes mistakes. He hurts. He is sad. He gets angry.

It's that connection with the rest of us. If you had this perfect, never failing icon, that would be a level of unrealism, unbelievability, that would cause his story to lose strength.

Ive known plenty of ppl who have had s---ty childhoods because their parents wernt hsappily married and known kids who were really happy and they didnt have two married parents... The morals should be that you love your family and treat everyone with respect.. not that u at least have a wedding ring.

I'm not sorry for being old fashioned. There's nothing wrong with being so. The subject, however, is how Superman is portrayed. He is suppose to have high values. He is suppose to be a good example for those who follow his adventures. For kids who read his comics and watch the films. How can we expect to have heroes if they end up having the same failings normal humans have?

That's right, he's "more than just a face beside the train"
maybe he should " take a walk around the world to ease his Troubled mind"
