Shidoshi said he would teach me to fight because he felt I could not outrun a tree.
When I pointed out bears can climb trees, he told me to shut up and pay attention.
Pax, Bub; we should not fight each other, when there are so many deserving targets out there. When time passes between my posts, it's because I have something else to do battle with (Bugger knows what I mean).
No fighting in the war room...that's a good one---how about a feature film, shot in good old black and white, called
Dr. Sithlove: or How I learned to stop worrying and love the Jedi.

Okay, is anyone else out there highly amused by what's
going on on "The Colbert Report" and at colbertnation.com?

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about,
Stephen Colbert had some green screen footage of himself
with a light saber, and is airing edited clips of it where
people have put him in different monster-fighting Jedi
scenarios.

I'm thinking someone out there with some talent for this
could implement some of the ideas posted here and upload it
to his site...for example, Stepher Colbert vs. Jabba Winfrey?

Just a thought.

How about Yoda: The Early Years of the Jedi. You know he's old. Been around for a loooooong time. He'd be good to run series around if not as a constant character. He had to get his start somewhere.

If only it wasn't a long time ago, the Yoda prequel could have
been the Incredible Hulk. I always picture a younger Yoda
more like the Hulk -- still green, but huge and muscular,
and warring with his rage and emotions -- only after a long struggle
did he learn inner peace, self-control, and wisdom.

Hmmm... getting shorter and faster as he learned to be at peace with himself and the Force. We could find out if he is the last of his race too.

For once, I'd buy a ticket for a film like Yoda: the early years.
Something we've never seen---and I too always thought he shrank as he aged, but he's one nimble little monkey in Episode-II. Maybe just a little bigger, brasher, a little out of control at times---ever wonder who was Yoda's teacher? He had to be a padiwan at some point, didn't he?
We could see how the Jedi wiped out---or thought they wiped out the Sith forever (yeah, good luck with that).

Well let me chime in here and say that I heard on G4, that the serise will be set in the nineteen years between EPIII and EPIV and that it will last for 100 episodes (Five seasons) and deal with young Luke Skywalker and his life on Tatooine.

Boy, if that's the case, what a boring concept that will be. I seem to remember Luke saying that nothing ever happens on that planet.

Across the Sands of Time, along the Shores of Life, the Traveler rides on. For he knows his journey ends in lovers meeting.

Beware the beast Man for he is the Devil's pawn.
Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport, or ----, or greed.
Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land.
Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert out of his home and yours.
Shun him. Drive him back into his jungle lair.
For he is the harbinger of death.

The las thing I heard, rumorwise, was that it would be set between EpIII and EpIV but would NOT deal with any of the major characters we already knew. I guess it is just a wait and see thing.
