Look, I didn't hear any screaming or squishing sounds.
"Torchwood" is series two's "Bad Wolf" with a mention in just about every episode. At least the ones set on Earth.

Nice, Alot of action with just a touch of morality play. Jamie reports that torchwood will have Cyberwoman.
good thing Mickey found his place in a universe

It was another 'save the Earth from the evil robots'. But it was good. I guess that I was partly right that "Micky" was killed (even if it wasn't truely him). Why did Rose have to tell her "dad" that in her universe him and Jackie had a kid? Like he'd take that in stride.
There was no mention of Torchwood in this episode. -shock!- (lol)
Here are some spoliers for the season finale so don't read past this if you want to remain in the dark:
I guess that the Darleks and the Cybermen team up and something happens to Rose. I want to know how the Darleks survived if the Doctor got rid of them all.
Look, I didn't hear any screaming or squishing sounds.

No longer "the tin dog". No spoilers here so I won't tell you anything more about Mickey.
As for the actor who protrays Mickey, Noel Clarke, this young man has a very promising career ahead of him. He has already written and starred in his own film, Kidulthood, which received very good critical reviews. He has also already produced a film, Licks. Also, he was awarded the 2003 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Most Promising Newcomer of 2002 for his performance in Where Do We Live at the Royal Court Theatre. I think we can expect great things from him in the future. I was surprised to find he was older than I thought he was, at thirty-one. Well, he will be in about a month on December 6. Check out his page at IMDB:

I want to know if they used actual footage of the coronation.
Look, I didn't hear any screaming or squishing sounds. |

It looked Familar and had the proper Grainy look to it but I'm not that mush of an anglophile to know for sure. BTW do you think this Ep had more impact in Great Brittan because it had to do with the Queen?

I am pretty sure it was actual TV footage of the coronation. My mom told me they actually watched that in school when it happened. It was pretty big outside of England. A lot of folks from some of the Doctor Who groups I subscribe to weren't thrilled with the the ep. I enjoyed it, but definitely thought it was about the weakest one of the season. Just good B-movie type fun. This week's episode is really good, The Impossible Planet, as is next week's, The Satan Pit. They are the front and back of a two parter.

Don't worry I noticed that they didn't mention 'Torchwood' in that episode, or 'Age of Steel' either.
Look, I didn't hear any screaming or squishing sounds. |

Yeah, they don't mention Torchwood in "Age of Steel", but they had just mentioned it in "Rise of the Cyberman", so it counts for the story. I don't think they mnetioned Torchwood in The Idiot's Lantern, but you kind of got the idea that the men in black may have been working for them. I also am pretty sure they didn't mention Torchwood in Girl in the Fireplace, but I am not positive.

There's a deleted scene from "Idiot's Lantern" (on scifi.com; it expires tommorow) where one of the "men in black" calls for 'Torchwood' but couldn't get through.
I don't think that they mentioned it in "Girl in the Fireplace", come to think of it.
Also it explains why back in series/season 1 in "Aliens in London" one of the words the software was designed to look for was "Doctor"
Look, I didn't hear any screaming or squishing sounds.

nice Episode. When I first heard of this story (a planet balanced on the edge of a black hole, older than the Tardis) i was thinking Rasalan.
So the Tardis was grown, I knew it was intelagint but not alive.
thats the problem with herd mentality, thry follow anyone
who put a 2 parter on witha holiday in the middle?
