Anyone seen this show? Like Firefly and Crusade, very promising show that died way before it's time. Not science fiction/fantasy, per se. But it takes place in a Michigan high school in 1980 and delves deep into the lives of kids in two of the outcast set, the burnouts (freaks) and the scifi nerd (geek) set.
Between extremely deep characterization (NO ONE really fits their stereotype, as you get in and examine them more deeply as people), wonderful stories and EXCELLENT use of period music (which all made it to the DVD set intact), this show scream "WATCH ME!", especially for those who were high school outcasts. Double especially if you went through it in the 80s.
Guilty.
Plus, the most realistic depiction of the game Dungeons and Dragons ever.
Period.
