Recently, a friend of mine offered me a thoughtful gift.
A U.S.S. Excelsior model kit that had been apparently crushed, box opened, part bags opened, and had damaged & missing parts; how cool is that?
Oh I'm sure I can scrounge or scratch-build whatever I need to get this salvage job back to Starfleet specs...this is gonna be fun.

I finally got out to my favorite hobby shop this week,
www.ab-charles.com
and scored myself another NX-01 from Polar Lights.
That's cool in itself but the chap who rang up my order, told me someone had bought up all the molds from AMT and hopefully, there will be new releases of the Star Trek fleet coming in the not-too-distant future.
WOO-HOO!
