Is it me, or does The new Baltar remind you more of Dr. Smith from Lost in Space than the Origional Baltar?

Baltar is a bad guy in the same way that those who collaborated with Nazis were. Not inherently evil, but has no moral compunctions about doing anything to save his own self, no matter who else gets hurt. He showed backbone one time in the series.

Have no fear Baltar is here. I think the comparsion to Dr. Smith form Lost in Space is a good one. Dr smith was a trator whom was to sabotage the misson. he seceeed of course. he does in many strike a relsemance to the smith charther. the were both professional persons, cowards, traidors and were lairs to the core. Except were smith deliberliy commited sabotage of the jupiter 2, baltar was duped by a sexy cylon number 6.
Baltar is an intresting charther to say the lease.
I think that picking him as one of the best bad guy on tv is warrented. he is certialy a thinkingmanns villian. He is can be cunning and intellent in some situations. it has helped hime get of a few situaions on the BSG.
rember Baltar dided for our sins :-o
