None but simple pleasures seek,
the mind is fierce,
but the soul is meek,
no treasure silver, nor of gold,
yearns only that his tales be told,
does battle when he must,
though not for combat does he ----,
kind hearted bear, does care take,
but still sees damage in his wake,
his eyes are bright,
and quick to light,
yet he wraps himself, in shadows of night,
cannot stay,
must not say,
passion's fire, hidden away,
hold back virture, well as sin,
never reveal the war within,
quiet life below the sun,
from rise to set,
never but one.

What she asked of me
was plain to see
so it seemed, simple enough,
she wants me to show,
what I know
as hurtful, frightful stuff.

Should I reveal
my Achillies Heel
to at last win her trust?
Hand her the gun
eyes open, don't run,
if it's true love, I must.

It will be the end
if she can't comprehend
less chance than a ghost,
but who would believe
or even conceive
the bear fears what he loves most?

It's the cool breeze, the stars above,
the silence of the night,
it's the terror of being lost,
so deprived of Love's warm light.

Misty-eyed, she whispers in my ear,
from her teddy bear she'll never part,
now I know from her, I need not fear
an icicle through the heart.

Please people, don't be fooled by this man. Do not give him your email address or you will be sorry, I know. I agree, there is romance and there is stupidity. He is just playing the sympathy card because I found a great man and it is not him. I am not saying you are not a nice guy, you are great but get over it please.
