I've heard of it, but I've never actually sat down to watch Boston Legal---well it's just a TV show.
I mean I wouldn't want to take something Shatner did for a few years, on a lark, and turn it into a collossal waste of time, now would I?
I'm too busy for that sort of thing---I have a life, you know.
Okay silliness aside, I have no "guilty" pleasures. Private, perhaps, if only to avoid being mocked, but nothing I'm ashamed to admit I enjoy; my all-time favorite film inspired the frickin' Raspberry Awards. |

I like your musical tastes better! I don't know why I don't really get into reality shows. Probably because when I am watching TV, I try to escape reality. I enjoy Rockstar because of the music. I was a fan of INXS, so watched last year. Being a fan of Guns & Roses, Metallica and Motley Crue, I am watching this year. Next year, who knows? I DID watch all of Mad, Mad House on Sci Fi Channel a couple of years ago, but that was the most unreal reality TV I can imagine!

So I guess you won't be watching Stan Lee's "Who Wants To Be A Superhero?" on the sci-fi channel?
Me miss anyting with Stan the Man in it? You MUST be joshing! But, I figure that is gonna be along the lines of Mad, Mad House. Unreal reality TV.

Okay, my REALLY guilty pleasure show is "Pants Off, Dance Off". I typically don't watch reality shows (1-they put real actors out of work. I have actor friends who spent a lot of time and energy learning their craft and to think that someone can become a "celebrity" by eating bugs makes me sad and 2-"reality" shows seem to be designed to bring out the worst aspects of humanity) but the concept of "Pants Off, Dance Off" is so amusing to me that I can't resist sometimes clicking over to see what is going on. Such a silly show but so much fun. |

My all-time favorite film inspired the Raspberry Awards (for real, I saw it on an msnbc news program and laughed). Lately though, there's been talk of bringing this film to Broadway.
I didn't want to go see some dumb musical...but my nine-year-old sister did and since no one else would take her, I did. (Sigh) "Okay, come on," I grumbled...turns out, it wasn't so bad.
I like the music so much, I bought the soundtrack (on vinyl); it came with a lyric sheet. My sister and I learned all the words to all the songs, then went back to theater after theater, trying to start sing alongs.
By our fifth and final attempt, we had nearly the entire audience singing along with the film's triumphant title track, Xanadu.
I've got the soundtrack on CD, the movie on DVD and no shame, guilt or apologies to offer, so there. |

Ah... Xanadu! A young and still wholesome Olivia Newton John. The songs were great, and it even had Gene Kelly (I think) singing and dancing in it. Loved it.
My guilty pleasure is watching Rocky Horror Picture Show and Monty Python And The Holy Grail. The top of the list for me when it comes to great laughs! |

I go to the Rocky Horror Picture Show around my area just about every weekend..it's about the only place where you can dress up like a total trampy tramp and nobody really cares.
I feel really white trash admitting this...but I watch Cops voraciously. And MASH, too. Alan Alda was hot stuff in his day.
Nothing puts me in a better mood then watching the musical episode of Buffy..It's so bad it's good..Whedon hit just a little left of the mark..
Has anyone seen the shows on TLC that have titles like "The 500 Pound Baby" and "The Man Born Without a Face"? They crack me up..and then I feel guilty cause they're true.
Wow..this is long. Done now:)

Every weekend for RHPS? That would be cool. We are lucky to have it once a month where I live! Have you picked up the DVD double feature that recently came out with both RHPS and Shock Treatment? I found it for less than 20 bucks right before Halloween and just HAD to buy it right then. Shock Treatment had not been released on DVD before this, so i am very happy!
