I was wondering that myself. This looks like In Search of crossed with Ghost Hunters and Myth Busters. I don't hold out much hope for this one. Of course, I didn't expect to like Ghost Hunters either, and it became must see tv for me.

Amen and a hearty hallejuah to that! Now if only sci fi could get some more original programming so they would show fewer stale reruns and bad B-movies. Hopefully, we won't see Mansquito-The Series.

Black Scorpion was basically a ripoff of Batman. I watched a couple of eps and gave up pretty quickly.

Oh, most definitely sexy. Have you seen the original movies they based the show on? They were R-rated for a reason. But, again, they were just B-movies without much else other than Joan Severance going for them. I think I saw recently on Netflix that there is new Black Scorpion movie out with a different actress. There was one fun episode of the TV series that Frank Gorshin was on that I enjoyed because of him. He played a character similar to the Clock King on Batman.

I never got into Lexx or Jules Verne much. Lexx was a little bit on the weird side, which is cool, but I had to be in the mood for it. Verne was just "eh" in my mind. Occasional brainless fun.

So did anyone watch SciFi Investigates tonight? I had to leave for work about 15 mintues into it. As someone who lived in New Orleans, it was cool seeing some pre-Katrina footage of the French Quarter and stuff, but it made me homesick. And no, I didn't leave NOLA because of Katrina. I had left several years before. But, NOLA is the only place that ever felt like home to me and I was planning to move back last October. Of course, that has been delayed indefinitely now.
