Series/season 2 is great. Just saw Tooth and claw.
So how did the brit react to the idea of the Royals being Warewolves
My prince charles what big ears you have
Why didn't they mention Sarah Jane and K-9 in the trailer for next week
so Torch wood was made to battle the Doctor , Good luck with that. They are gonna need it

You know how they came up with the name 'Torchwood' right? (It's an anagram of Doctor Who)
I like David Tennant a bit better than CE, but I miss the black leather and I think that the glasses are a nice touch, make him more distinguished looking.
I can't wait to see where they go with the whole Torchwood plot line. When Queen Victoria said Torchwood at the beginning of the episode I thought that the name was another 'Bad Wolf'. Maybe it, maybe it isn't; we'll just have to see.
Look, I didn't hear any screaming or squishing sounds.

Torchwood IS kind of the new "bad wolf" as it gets mentioned in almost every episode this year and, of course, Torchwood has a HUGE part in the season finale. The spin off series is supposed to premier this month on the BBC. I am looking forward to seeing Captain Jack back, as well as Eve Myles.

Haven't seen any trailers for this week's episode but I heard that the actress who is Sara Jean is the same one who originally played the character in the original Who.
Did anyone know that David Tennant is Scottish? I didn't until I saw an interview of him on youtube.
Look, I didn't hear any screaming or squishing sounds.

Does any one know if the Actress who played Susan, the Doctor's Grandaughter, still alive? that would be something, having a 60 plus year old woman calling Tennant GrandFather.

Of course. They figure more Americans know ASH than Elisabeth Sladen. Fat lot the SFC people people know! In fact, they are probably right, but I love Lis and wish she got more play in the commercials. She still looks DAMN fine and I look forward to her new series later next year.

It IS Elisabeth Sladen still looking great. I heard Tom Baker joked that when she walked on set, there was a huge collective gasp from the crew about how beautiful she still was and everyone passed out from all the air being sucked from the room!

Carole Anne Ford IS still alive. She appeared in the Dimension In Tome thing in '93. Did you know that she appeared in Day of the Triffids back in 1962? She is actually sixty-six now, just a year younger than William Hartnell was when he passed away. William Russell, who played Ian Chesterton in the classic series is also still around at the grand age of 82. Unfortunately, Jaquelin Hill, Barbara, lost her fight with cancer in 1993.
As to Susan showing up in the new series, I think it highly unlikely, unless someone takes over for RTD and gets past the whole "last of the Timelords" thing. Of course, the argument could be made as to whether Susa WAS actually a Time Lady, but I think the argument is specious at best.
My one thing is that the Doctor says he is the last of his kind and he would feel any others. He says in The Parting of the Ways that he is connected with time and sees/feels everything all the time. (I am paraphrasing here) If that is the case, how did he not know there thousands of Daleks still out there? I think a case could be made that there could be Time Lords out there hiding themselves from him. I DO think he would know if his granddaughter were still alive.
I doubt if we will see much in the way of classic characters making future appearances. I wouldn't mind seeing Romana, but you would have to ignore the Big Finish audios and put her back in E-space. The Master could easily be brought back from the Eye of Harmony in the TARDIS. As for companions, that is more iffy. I would LOVE to see them bring back the Brig one last time. Sylvester McCoy's Doctor states that the Brig dies quietly in bed, so it might be nice to see him make one last vist to his old friend before he shrugs off this mortal coil. Or it might be nice to have the Brig show up in an ep of Torchwood as a "Special Advisor" on the Doctor in a nice nod and wink to the whole "Special Scientific Advisor to UNIT" status of the Doctor back in the day. Who still on Earth now knows the Doctor better than he and Sarah Jane? Other than that, I don't see much in the way of companions coming back.

Oh I am not saying they won't have more tie ins. I just don't expect them to. RTD doesn't want to be completely chained to classic series continuity.

Excelent Ep makes you think about all the other companions and how they left. Mind you, I've mainly seen from Baker on But I don't remember any other that the Doctor had strong feelings for.
you know Sarah could have made Mickey feel better By telling him of Dr. Harry Sullivan.
I Don't remember Baker ever calling her Sarah Jane just Troughton
And Tennant Hasn't called Mickey "the Idiot"....Yet
I miss the classic Eps Which seemed to go on for ever. Ther was so much more they could do with that story line.
best lines
Yeah Kenny Blew up the School
Forget the shooty Doggy thing
Finch-you are a bad doggy K-9 AFFIRMATIVE
we are in a car

School Reunion was definitely one of my favorite eps in Series 2. Great lines. Great interaction and chemistry between the characters and ASH was great as the headmaster. My favorite scenes were getting to see K9 in action with some upgraded effects, the whole scene with SJS and Rose trying to outdo each other, and Mickey's realization he was the "tin dog". I actually teared up a little at the end.
