Very cool. While I wouldn't doubt that whoever designed the Resurrection ship was influenced by this building, I am not sure it has a double meaning. On the other hand, with so much of BSG reflecting the current war, ti could have some double meaning. I think it could be significant that the RS is designed off of a military chapel at a base where people are trained for war. With a combination of reflecting the religious fanaticism of the Cylons, the idea of being "reborn" in the Christian mythos (I know some of you who may be Christians may have problem with my use of mythos here, but I am not being disrepectful of your beliefs, just pointing out that different folks see Christianity in different ways.), and the idea that a military academy is basically a "machine" that turns out warriors who replace other warriors as they die in wars. Now whether all of that was intended by Moore and company, I couldn't say unless one of them told me so. But, it is fun to speculate. Laughing

There is more to that. all though a millitary Chapel is suposed to be suitable for many denomantations, in recent years The Air Force Academy has had several accusations of being Christian Biased. do you think that plays into the story line?

I wouldn't doubt it. It would not be past Moore to slide in subtle commentary on the rampant conservatism in this country.

The chimps who generate NBG are about as subtle as a motherfrelling sledgehammer, so you can be assured that's what they meant.
