The mirror of sci fi! Lord of the Rings, the Arhturian myths, oh the list could go on for so long! The Arthurian, Greek, and Roman mythologies got me into fantasy at a very young age, about 8. To this day, I still have a fascination with those myths and tales of sword, sorcery, and fantastic beasts in general. What got you into Fantasy?

Oh, I started young. I was a very early reader and my brother used to give me wholy inappropriate books to read just to see if I could make it through them. He had me reading EA Poe (Telltale Heart, of all things!) at about 3. My mom loves to tell how I read The Odessey to a friend's dog when I was 5. We dog sat while the friend was out of town and apparently all I did was sit in the stairwell reading to the dog the whole time, with it gazing up like it was hanging on every word. That's the first fantasy book I can remember, and I just kept going with it.

Poe was one of my early reading loves too. I still love Poe. just having bought a nice leather bound complete stories and poems volume a couple of years ago.
