As we all know star trek is going to be 40 years old this september. To celebrate this I want to do something apart from watching Wrath of Kahn for the 100 time.
What does everyone else think I should do to celebrate? Anyone got anything planned? |

the plan should be to support the new film and embrace it with open arms beacuse if the fans react the same way they did with nemesis then the star trek franchise on tv will surely die after the film |

I think you might check out the star trek convention in Las Vegas, NV for something special this year it will be from august 17 through the 20 at the las vegas hilton in las vegas. It will a 40th anniversary celebration. You can find out about it at creationent.com. Like Kirk would say........Bones I think we better get there fast!!! |

taking some time to think about it. I don't think you've ever played any of the drinking games...what would be cool? It also seems recent that I celebrated the 30 year anniv. still wearing one of the shirts today. |

Years ago my dog knocked over the model of the Classic Enterprise I built when I was 10 yrs. old. Smokie didn't mean any harm, so I put it in a box and forgot about it.
Smokie's gone now...I think I'll see if I can repair the damage, and give the old girl a fresh coat of paint. |

Tranya...ho, that takes me back.
Apricot nectar makes an acceptable substitute for Tranya---well, when I was four, anyway.
How do you know your child is a lifelong Star Trek fan?
When he gets out of the tub, wraps a towel around himself, and explains the Q-Tips in his ears to his Mum with the quote, "They are my ears for Va'al." |

I think Clint Howard (yes Rons brother) said Tranya was pink Grapefruit juice. He still looks like BaiLock |

Yeah he does, doesn't he?
Wonder whatever happened to the First Federation, as seen in the episode "The Corbomite Maneuver"? Maybe that's all there was---hey, the real Spaceball-one! |

I may sit and watch my tapes and dvds. Then again, I may listen to ALL my sound tracks while I catch up on my technical journals. Ah... Scotty... where are you, Laddie. Me bairns. Me wee bairns. I may even get me a bottle of something.... green. But you know one thing... Ye cannot change the laws of physics. But put'n some physics in the Capt'n coffee... now that would be funny! |
