Well, after seeing the first episode of the season, does anyone get the feeling it's "almost" like The Prisoner? Secret society traps and tests the people. I'm wondering if the boy in the other cage is really a captive or just another plant.

Hahah... I looked at that book cover and realized... it's his first book. Carrie! So this makes me wonder, just how long have these folks lived in out of the world. Something tells me they are not getting King's more recent works. :)

Well, now there's ANOTHER island! I'm wondering why, if Desmond sailed around the island, why he never mentioned it? And why didn't Sahid, Jen and Sun see evidence of it? Could there be an invisibility screen around the Other's home island?
I think the Others are a second generation group left behind by the original scientests. I think they are the desendents of the first Darma Research teams. Evidence? How about the book club reading Carrie? That's a pretty old book. Why would they start reading it now? And by the cover it looks like it may have been the original.
Something else about that book. It's about a girl who comes of age and starts getting psi powers. And what was it they wanted Walt for? He has psi powers!

What, your not going to give us topic :
They said it was a small island but they didn't how far away it was though. we know that the main island is huge, its possiple to ovler look "hydra" island if you are consentrating on "darma" island Sun, Kim, Sayeed were consintrating on the big island, The jury is still out on Desmond, but he seems to have devolpoed prcognition. I think you are right about the others being second Generation. But why did they take the children? are they steril?

You know, I had forgotten about the two kids from the other part of the plane. We should be seeing them some time soon. As for being steril, that's a possibility. The island can heal though. So... why wouldn't it heal them of such a thing?

Why are The others there in the first place
why did Echo's brother end up on the island
who is the one eyed man
how do the others know so much
if the crash survivors had a chance to leave, would they
it takes them forever to to answer a guestion then raise 2 more. it's good story telling but a little frustrating. after this weeks eppisode Lost goes on Hiatus. no repeats and no new eppisodes for several months. I fear that i may not be interested when it returns
