Based on the Event Comics series created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada, Painkiller Jane premieres on the Sci-Fi Channel on April 13, 10 p.m.
Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) plays Jane Vasko, DEA agent who discovers that she has an amazing ability to heal rapidly from any injury. She is recruited by a secretive government agency that tracks down genetically enhanced individuals.

Knowing Kristanna Loken's acting skills, I haven't made an effort to watch this. But, I did see last week's ep which, while okay, wasn't anything to get excited over.

After watching a few episodes the show doesn't seem to have any direction of were it wants to go. The writing is okay, I mean I've seen better on other shows. It's falling into the pattern of the "Eeuro" of the week, that's what they call those genetically enhanced individuals that control other people's minds. They haven't discussed again why Jane can heal herself, maybe they're saving that issue for later episodes. Loken is still good to look at, but it's more like see Jane get elected, see Jane get shot by a hail of bullets, see Jane falloff a high-rise building. I'll still stick with it but mostly because of Loken.
