Hi all to the fourm. I wanted to take the time to dicuss one of my newest pasttimes. Podcast listening, I do not have a ipod but can download mp3 files onto my laptop and listen that way. I even have the neckband head phones for my computer.
I found out I coudl download podcast when I got an e-mail form a website that was annouching that they were upgrading thier site. they explined that they weekly pod cast was aviable on itunes and I decied to take a look. I got itunes store with a quicktime palyer download. At frist I thought it there would be a fee for the download but to my suprise it was free. so I doloaded the podcast and enjoyed listening to it. since then I have subscibed to at least 6 sites that have podcast avaible on itunes.
one of which is advertied here. Slice of Sci-fi.
I have listen some great podcast ranging form sci-fi news, interview, dicussions and movie reviews. there is even one site that has raido sci-fi dramas form the 1950's. those show are great to listen to even by todays standards, they have a classic quality to them.

Great that you have found pod casting. i have been listing for a while, i mainly listen to tech news. example buzz out loud from cnet.com they take a look at new items in the tech new and make it fun to listen. Also you might try Diggnation from the guys at digg.com, oh and they also do TRS totally rad show where they talk about movies, tv shows, comics, video games, and much more. last but not least if you like tech you should look at the TWIT this week in tech with leo laporte. he has been around since tech tv days. he has many different podcast that he dose. I know they are all not SI FI stuff but really good shows to watch and listen.

Hi, e10gizmo. thanks for the reply. I am always looking for more podcast to lsiten too. Thanks for the sugguestons. I do rember Leo Laporte from the tech tv days. I have listen to a few other podcast such as the ones that are vid cast. g4 has a few of thoes and sometimes a podcaster will vid cast as a part of a special podcast. I will look into what you suggested and may take listen.
