I have to tell you I'm unimpressed with what I saw in the trailer, I will probably see it in the end most likely as a rental on DVD. But to those that will see it please put your reviews here, I might be wrong and the remake turns out to be good.

`I've seen the original and the remake. The original was a thoughtful and interesting movie about nations getting along, and the remake was about, well, nothing. It was simply a cgi-loadied, no-plot movie. I was a little embarassed when I saw it. I do, however, strongly recommend the original. It is excellent.
