What! over a week goes by and no posts. I like Firefliy/Serenity but i'm not a full blown browncoat. i was waiting for a big fan to have the honor of a first post. since no one ponied up here i go.
What do you think of the fire fly Role playing game? become a member of Serenity or find a ship, a crew and a job and set out on your own

Me likey. I'm actually running it online right now, though as usual I've pretty much tossed out the system mechanics and am using my own freeform GMing style that is mostly based on storytelling and character development.

`Been running a Serenity campaign for almost three years now. I like the system, although I will admit some of the crunch is broken. Having said that, it's still one of my favorite games (the other is Rifts). It provides fast and furious (and lethal) combat and plenty of roleplay (as opposed to roll-play) opportunities.
I use the Cortex rules now. The Trait die works better than the old step bonus/penalty setup. Looking forward to the Big Damn Heroes Handbook.
