How many of you remember this show... Fantastic Island. Or Quark? I ask this because, it seems that these shows, though on only for a year at the least, never get talked about. I think some of those shows were great and, even if it was babyfood sci-fi, it was still fun to watch.
How about Voyagers? Or Something Is Outthere? Does anyone remember these? Do you remember something else? Let's not forget these shows. They are part of sci-fi t.v. history as well!

Across the Sands of Time, along the Shores of Life, the Traveler rides on. For he knows his journey ends in lovers meeting.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beware the beast Man for he is the Devil's pawn.
Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport, or ----, or greed.
Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land.
Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert out of his home and yours.
Shun him. Drive him back into his jungle lair.
For he is the harbinger of death.

What about the Live Action Planet of The Apes?
There was this one sereis about a Colony ship with all these different BioDomes that developed differently. None knew of the others exsistance. And Walter Konieg played an Evil Alien... With a Russian Accent. Sorry can't Remember the name.

If memory serves, Quark was indeed an early Mel Brooks foray into sci-fi about a space garbage ship.
I have a cast photo around here somewhere---that show really cracked me up.
The one I remember was a kid show,
Captain Power & the Soldiers of the Future.
It was actually interactive; it had ratings good enough for a second season, but was killed by fears of toy gun violence (well that had a shiny happy ending, didn't it?)

I love sci fi television, and a few years ago, created a site that lists all the old sci-fi shows, how many episodes they aired, etc. You can find it at (removed)
I've also been documenting these shows on a wiki, that you can find at (removed)
It's my little contribution to make sure these shows aren't forgotten.
