Hi all to the fourm, I just went to see the movie "The Mist" today. even though it is not due for release yet, I was able to see it as a part of a sneek peek screening. This is a good move, I would give it at least 3 starts I am not much into Steven King but I have seen a few movie appations of his novels. this was based on a shiort novel he wrote.
This movie will have anyone both screamming and laughing at the same time. it has some cool CGI seances and there is good acting thoughout the movie with a good cast. I won't give away any plot spoliters but there is a sprise ending.

From seeing the trailers it does look like a good movie, but I always get disappoint every time I see a film based on one of Stephen King stories. I'm still trying to decide whether to see Hitman or The Mist at this point.

to answer the queston. I do not belive that Steven King made any cameos in the movie.. I certaily do not recall seeing him.

To bad the movie came in at No. 7 on the top 10 boxoffice results from last weekend. Maybe word-of-mouth will move it up the list.
