Yea! I thought I was the only person on the planet who liked the new Night Stalker! I was disappointed that they cancelled it so quickly. |

Yea I was disapointed as well. I have to admit that I started watching it just for Stuart Townsand but I got hooked on it. I used to watch Law&Order as well, but don't anymore. It got to predictable for me and Jerry Orbach wasn't on it anymore. |

The Night Stalker will return with reruns on the sci-fi channel next month I think. You'll see the episodes that never aired. |

Have to agree on the Xena-Hercules thing. Pimp my ride us version for the really silly, over the top reactions of the pimpees( is that a word?), just for a giggle |

Ok For a quilty pleasure Gilmore Girls. Will luke ever get his pride out of his *ss. I am glad it survived the Merger, and sorry that Charmed didn't. But that last season left something to be desired. And they couldn't but their hatred aside enough for even a picture of Pru. Excuse me, I have to check my testosterone level |

Non Sci-Fi/Fantasy: Grey's Anatomy. It's a fantastic show.
Kinda Sci-Fi/Fantasy: Lost, Alias, Supernatural, Medium and Veronica Mars (when I remember it's on)
I don't watch a lot of TV, so that about covers it. |

I watch a lot of different TV, not just sci fi. One of my current favorites is The Closer. Outstanding writing and acting every week.
If I had anything that could be considered a guilty pleasure, it would probably be "My Dad Is A Rock Star". Yeah, I am over 40 and still watch some cartoons. I am proud of not being "too grown up" to enjoy them. But, I love My Dad because it was created by Gene Simmons of KISS. Being a huge KISS fan, I can see a lot of Gene in the father character, obviously, and that makes it a lot of fun.
I generally avoid reality TV, but I do watch Rockstar.

I like your musical tastes better! I don't know why I don't really get into reality shows. Probably because when I am watching TV, I try to escape reality. I enjoy Rockstar because of the music. I was a fan of INXS, so watched last year. Being a fan of Guns & Roses, Metallica and Motley Crue, I am watching this year. Next year, who knows? I DID watch all of Mad, Mad House on Sci Fi Channel a couple of years ago, but that was the most unreal reality TV I can imagine!

So I guess you won't be watching Stan Lee's "Who Wants To Be A Superhero?" on the sci-fi channel? |

Reality Shows= Y-U-K..nevah!!!
but to be honest, I don't consider any of the shows I watch guilty pleasures, because I find if the show has an appeal to me, I find it's perfectly fine to like it..whether it has cheese or not.
let me preface to say, at times I am a tv-addict, much like Amy aka TVGAL on zaptoit.
-Veronica Mars - best written show on tv. Better than Lost..sorry, but it is...and gets next to no credit. Emmys and The Golden Globe have no idea it exists.
-Gilmore Girls - much like Veronica..altho with the Palladino's throwing in the towel mid-season due the CW having their heads up their asses by demanding a 2 yr contract, the show, honestly..JUMPED THE SHARK. I fear this coming season could be even worse. Bring back Digger plz!..that being said, it was the best show on TV for many years and I'm still on board for now.
-How I Met Your Mother - Doogie and Willow..esp Doogie stealing every scene. And The Robyn character is too damn cute to not watch this show.
-My Name Is Earl - take out the Scientology aspect to Jason Lee and this show is the best sitcom on tv..except like GG's it kind of nose-dived toward the end of the season. If I can get past the Scientology thing, I will be quite optimistic for season 2. The premise and cast are quite good..the Randy character esp..like Coach/Woody on Cheers. And a million times better than the American version of The Office
-Boston Legal - Shatner..Rene..Spader..funny..nuff said. Locklear and 7 of 9 also help make it worth watching. Now if they just get Nimoy to guest appear..or even better, Patrick Stewart and have him go up against Denny!..hehe.
-Smallville - Esp once Erica Durance came on board..it's gotten better. yeah some episodes are hit and miss, but the best ones are cool.
-Grey's Anatomy - The writing and chemistry in the cast make this well worth seeing. Plus..erm..Katherine Heigl is just too much eyecandy to avoid.
-Lost - even tho Veronica I prefer..this still is a great show..and I don't care if it's a "water cooler" show, etc..the writing is still damn good..except Abrams keeps killing off the hot women!?
What About Brian - great start to a show..not sure what it is..a drama or a dramedy?..more drama..forget her name, but the chic Brian should be with whose engaged is worth seeing every week.
Pepper Dennis - show got canned..but it was getting really good, even tho they replaced Brett Cullen with Chip from Kate And Allie.. Rebecca Romijn and the rest of cast worked well..the writing was good..it had a lot of what I love about shows like Gilmore Girls..not too much Drama..but not too lite like a Sitcom..a good mix. Read a rumor NBC might pick it up as a Winter replacement..if only these things did happen..
SF:
Battlestar Galactica - I'm back and forth..reminds me of B5 tho..dark, political..I think telling the whole story about what happened in the year Baltar was prez should be good.
Dr.Who - Had Eccleston remained..and now Billie Piper I guess for Series 3, this would be a top 5 show for me. That being said, I really got into Series 1 this spring.
The 4400 - I'm in love with this show!..just caught on this summer. Great writing and plotline..but not surprising as the exec producer is Rene Echevarria who worked on 2 of my alltime fav showsL DS9 and Now And Again. I'm totally hooked!
more, but as you can see..I'm an addict..altho TV is not my #1 love..Music is (Progressive Rock among other genres)

I watched the first boston legal purely on the shatner element, but was pleasantly surprised when it was good, and now the second series has finished, my thursday nights will never be the same
And if anyone if familiar with Peter Kaye, Westwood = uncle d-------.
Did anyone see the madonna special, Weswood was being his usual self and Madonna was giving him that "what the heck is that!!!?" look through the whole thing! It was stupendously bad. |
