I am here in the first instance to chat and perhaps meet guys and gals into scifi and related stuff. For a living I am a Primary school teacher so at the end of the school day and after marking and planning and stuff I am just too pooped to get out to pubs and clubs and meet people. And this site is free. I came to this site through it being mentioned in the forums and chat of Doctor Who Online.

I really appreciate everyone who has responded to this post. It is things like this that help everyone to get a little better idea about the folks here. Getting to know someone is the first step to finding that special someone, after all, right?

Heck yeah I do!
I also enjoy a roll in the hay...roll, roll, roll in the hay.
Sorry..Young Frankenstein references have a tendency to creep into everything I'm involved in.

I hear ya. I know that movie practically by heart. There has never been a better spoof/tribute of the classic horror film. Did you know Mel Brooks is working on turning it into a musical for Broadway like they did with The Prodcuers? I think I would make a trip to New York just to see that!

How awesome. I love Mel Brooks. LOVE The Producers...I know it practically by heart..okay, I'll not get started on musical theatre and the intense passion I have for it.
And any time I feel sad, I listen to the song they sing about the Spanish Inquistion in History of the World: Part I, and then I'm a happy camper.

Or you can always listen to "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" from Life of Brian or the song from Monty Python and the Meaning of Life. They always get me smiling, too. I know it ain't Mel, but it is still good stuff. Can you imagine if Mel and the surviving Pythoners got together? I think my head might explode!

If your head exploded, I would be sad. I'd be very entertained..but still sad.
But that would be like fifty kinds of awesome if they all go together.

Well, never let it be said that I would do anything to make you sad! I will keep my head in one piece and try to find other ways to entertain you.

Wasn't it you that started the thread about flirting? Plus, she is a thousand miles away and I am old enough to be her dad, so.... otherwise, she is just about perfect.

I was just trying to give you two a hard time.
And when I said it I was hoping someone would flirt back with me too.
