Okay I'm sure everyone has heard of the anti-semitic rant that Gibson give a couple of Cops after they arrested him for drink driving he has apologised and now I believe he is actively seeking help for his alcholism ...... I was just wondering what everyone thought should happen .....Should he after recieving help continue on like before making movies ...being the star that youngsters look up to and admire? Should he be now shunned by mainstream Hollywood (A big company have already pulled the plug on a project about the Holocaust that he was planning) or.....Will The real test, 'the lethal weapon' be the audience .....the bums on the seats that will be the deciding factor?
Do you believe he mean't what he said? And if he didn't believe it why in the name of God did he say it in the first place? |

| Yes the final answer will be the the box office. I have heard alot of Anti Isrealie comments since the start of the war. you get a few shots in any body and they will act like an idiot. He is due for a few lean years but as long as he doesn't kill any body he can make a come back. i give hime 5 years any takers |

| I find the foreign policy of Israel and America very questionable at the moment but what he said was just pure racist ....you cannot blame an entire race for all the problems in the world. I reckon now he feels like a proper idiot and so he should!! Though I don't think it should now effect his career ....he has admitted his mistake and apologised ....however he wouldn't want to do it again!! |

The old saying, "Children and drunks will always tell you the truth" springs to mind, but in my experience that's crap. Both are the most pathetic liars, and I do not put much stock in what either tell me.
Gibson should do time for driving drunk, but this is still America and you have the right to shoot off your mouth, even if you are a drunk spewing nonsense. |
