The Storyteller ....yeah that was class I used to watch that on Irish telly they used to show Sledgehammer after it ...remember that comedy show about a cop with a big magnum gun that he loved.
The stories and puppetry were brilliantly done in the Storyteller!! |

Knights of God doesn't ring a bell with me and you know Jamie it really should cause I watches a hell of a lot of tv at that time. It sounded good.
I loved V the mini series and V The Final Battle (wasn't that pushed on the tv series that followed which was basically just rehashing the old idea) Matt Donovam and Juliet Parish and the ex mercenary Ham Tyler were the main leaders of the resistance and of course poor Willy (Robert Freddy Kruegor Englund) Diana the big baddie was great too lol I'm amazed how much I remember of it.
Space 1999 I really liked too at the time ....it used to be on, on a Saturday morning....wasn't there a one who could change into animals on that show?
Anyone remember Monkey ...it was a great show too "The nature of Monkey was irrepresible" and then that funky music came on as Monkey broke out of an egg .....
his gold and black stick that shrunk to sit behind his ear.... his pink cloud .....his gold head band that the priest used to torture and control him....ahhh great times had by all!! |

Ironhorse: Wolfjaw, Montana - that's Indian Territory.
Harrison: Looks like we got aliens moving into the neighborhood. Let's
go.
Ironhorse: Great. First the white man, now aliens.
That show had some good moments.

Well there you go you learn something new every day I bow to both of your superior knowledge Cooky and Jamie ..............I also didn't know David Collins's voice was used for Monkey thats a good one!!
Anyone here remember American Gothic it was a great show it was about a weird town called Trinity and their Devilish Sherriff Buck and a little boy (who seemed very important to Buck) visited by the spirit/ghost of his murdered sister.
Tales of the Gold Monkey - This was an early eighties series it always reminded me of Raiders of the Lost Ark it was about a guy with a seaplane company.
Two Tarzan shows - cartoon and live action series in the latter he had a little boy called Ji or something the cartoon was Filimation I think
Flash Gordon cartoon - I think this was made by the same crowd that did Tarzan......... Filmation |

American Gothic: yeah i remember it, but it didn't do anything for me. Now Twin Peaks i liked. and for a laugh there was Northern Exposure.
Tales Of the Gold Monkey: great show, loved the sea plane, and jake the one eyed dog... yes, it was modeled after raiders.
The only Tarzan, i remember was the recent Tarzan in New York, even with Lucy Lawless it Sucked.
Filmation did everything, Heman,Tarzan, Flash, Even Gilligans Island in space. and don't forget Star Trek animated series
I remember 3 Flash Gordan Cartoons, Filmations version in the eighties just after the Max VoSydow movie, Defenders of the Earth with the Phantom, lothor and their kids, and one a few years ago where flash was a skate board punk. |

In the old Filmation Flash Gordon cartoon ...is it my imagination that he had an alien friend that looked like a two legged lion I think his name was hern or thorn or something.
I used to like DOE myself.......... Manderick was the magician/wizard guy wasn't he?
I never heard of the Tarzan series with Lucy Lawless .....maybe its aswell |

Yeah, thorn was a lionman.
Did you hear Wilmer Valderama (Fez from That 70's show) is playing Ponch in a Chips Movie
There were rumors Of an A-Team movie With Mel Gibson as Hanibal... wel I don't think thats Gonna happen now
They've done a couple Knight Rider TV movies
Knight Rider 2000: same Kitt new Chassie new driver
Team Knight Rider: six Vehicles and drivers flying around in a V-tol Air craft.
there was another which was a combo Knight Rider/Mad Max. The twist, the computer was the memory engrams of his dead girl friend. they could "meet" in VR. Beat that Hasselhoff |

Has anyone mentioned "Wizards and Warriors"?
Does anyone else remember that show?
It didn't last long. I remember enjoying it, but I had
just finished reading LOTR, so I probably would have enjoyed
anything even remotely in the genre. |

I'm not sure if I am thinking of the same one as you are :
Was this the one with the bratty princess who later went on to NewHart and Designing Woman? and the pretty boy Knight who came from Taxi and Grease and then went onto Babalon 5
It was pretty campy |

Yes, that's the one.
Campy, yes. But I like camp. Maybe it's because I never
got to go to one as a kid.
It's all fuzzy in my head, but I remember there being some
amusing dialogue and banter. |
