There's a couple mentions under the "no gamers" thread, but was looking for more wow specific discussion..
Who all plays? What server are you on? Which dyou prefer, pvp or pve? How long have you played? What keeps you playing?
Personally, I've played on the Alleria server, which is a pve server, since the game came out. Was into pvp for a while, but not enough time to seriously rank up and be in a raid guild, so something had to give. I play for the challenge of defeating new bosses and working out strats, and I stay for the friends that I've made.
what say you? |

I used to play WoW for a while... although nowdays I dont have time to play it. I did however buy a new card the otherday so hopefully I will get around to using it before my time runs out. I usually play on the pvp servers and I can never figure out where I am or where i am supposed to be so Im pretty slow to rank up. lol |

I play on a few servers although with the new character transfers all my horde characters will be going to aegwynn (52 shaman,40 something rogue). Its all about PVP though, I played MMO's since you and because of that I have a real need for PVP in almost any MMO I play these days. I've jumped servers a bunch of times over the past year and a half, I'm just hoping the new world PVP stuff in 1.12 is fun and meaningful on a serverwide basis. |

MMO is short for MMORPG which stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game. It was a hot term years back when games like UO and EQ were just comming out. |

I play on Hyjal. My main is a level 60 shaman, but I have a ton of characters - warlock, mage, druid, warrior, all low level. The guild I am in has gotten to the point where all of MC is on farm, and we are gearing up for BWL. I usually play 2 nights a week or so.
I play exclusively PvE. I have no interest in PvP, not even duels. I've been playing since December 2005, and the people in my guild are what keep me interested. It's fun to be a contributing part of a good group of people. |

Maan everyone is a level 60! Dammit...I played for quite a while and got my mage to a level 18...lol then I just lost interest as I used to play with one of my friends and then we both sort of stopped playing. How long did it take all you level 60's to get there?? |

My game time to 60 was about 14 days. In real time, it was over the space of 6 months. I did it mostly solo, with very little help and few instances.
I've put more time into WoW than any other MMORPG I've played. I played Ultima Online, Everquest, Asheron's Call and City of Heros, but didn't have as much fun in any of those as I do with WoW. I think it's mostly due to the people I've met in this game. |
