With all these Retro Shows and Movies Airing (Galactica-Bionic Woman- Get Smart- Transformers...) The Powers that Be want to bring back the Knight Rider. By my Count this would be the 4th attempt to bring back the
series
(1) Knight Rider 2000: Kitt is Brought out of moth balls and accidently Tasers James Dohan
(2) The Knight Rider: post economic meltdown, a man builts a super car out of Nasa's junkyard and uses his dead girlfriends brain Engram to control it
(3) Team Knight Rider: a group of crimeFighters From FLAG go around the country in a C-130 with super several different vehicles in the hold.
Will someone shut that man up

Yup.
This time around it won't even be a Trans-Am, K.I.T.T. is a Ford Mustang.
More proof there is no worn-out idea the network wonks won't recycle into dumbed-down trash.

I have absolutely no interest in seeing the remake, and the original hasn't aged well when I saw it on the sci-fi channel a few years ago. Just goes to show what you think is so cool as a kid, sucks when you see it as an adult.

`Oh Boy it was a two hour ford Comercial. Kitt Jr. doesn't have the same pinosh as the origional. With the limited pilots being made due to the strike there may be a chance.
BTW Don't you thin Danny Mcoy and Nick Cannon were pissed someone was messing with the security of the Montacido? couldn't they at least make a cameo?

`Like Cooky said... it was a wasted two hours of Ford comercial. The story was boring, the car was boring and not even The Hoff could save this turkey. I don't care how fancy it can look with its nano-tech camo-armor skin. It's still boring. And what's with using a Mustang anyway? I'm sure they could have gone out and found a newer Trans-Am model to use. They could have done the effects with it instead and it would have been way cooler than some ugly piece of garbage like a Mustang.
Get a clue t.v. land! Stop ruining fan favs with bad remakes. Come up with something new and original!
