Hello!

I'm a reporter for The Daily Beast, and I'm working on a story about Star Trek fans who use online dating websites. If anyone on here would like to tell me about why they joined Trek Passions and what their experience has been like so far, I'd love to chat with you.

Tv Producer looking for UK based Trekkie Love Stories
Hi there Iam a UK TV Producer and Iam looking for couples who have found love in a Trekkie Chatroom or online Trekkie dating web site such as this one.
Iam looking at covering positive stories.

If you are UK based and would like to email me your story together with some photos of you both in & out of costume, together with a paragraph of what you do away from being a Trekkie. I would love to hear your story.

Please email all stories through my production company web site:

www.Liverbirdproductions.co.uk on the contact us page.

Thank you.

Danielle

Chris Pine Live On Stage
Save up to 33% on The Lieutenant of Inishmore Starring Chris Pine

Monty Python has ever tackled the issue of Irish terrorism, they might have created something as wild, as brilliant and as weirdly exhilarating as The Lieutenant of (removed) -NY Daily News

Olivier Award-winner Martin McDonagh (The Pillowman) makes comedy from carnage in this highly theatrical romp. Padraic (played by Chris Pine) is a handsome, dedicated terrorist deemed too mad for the IRA. He takes a break from torturing valid targets and blowing up fast food restaurants when he hears that his best friend in the world, a beloved cat, is doing poorly.

Critics raved and gasped over this 2006 Tony Award Best Play nominee. You can decide for yourself when the original Broadway director stages this daring and disturbingly intoxicating dark comedy.

Trek the Walk of Fame
I've been recently informed of a drive to get Walter Koenig a richly deserved and long overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Personally, I thought he already had one but I re-post this from an email request for our help:

I am trying to get everyone to write a letter to the Walk Of Fame Committee to encourage them to vote for Walter this June for him to get his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Please help Walter Koenig, "Chekov from Star Trek TOS", Get His Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Walter has been nominated for his star and waltersstar.com has raised the money to manufacture and install the star (Thanks!). All Walter needs now is the votes of the Walk of Fame Committee.
Write to the Walk of Fame Committee a polite letter in your own words, why you think Walter should have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. These NEED to be letters from each individual fan in the fan's own words. Not copies, Not form letters, Not chain letters.
Walk of Fame Committee
c/o Hollywood Chamber of Commerce
7018 Hollywood Boulevard, 2nd Floor
Hollywood, CA 90028

I already sent my letter.

Star Trek 2009 SUCKS!!!
I'm having a hard time grasping the fact that everyone is loving the new film, it's terrible. They take the idea of time travel and peverse it beyond belief. The acting is just as bad as Shatner ever was and while the special effects were okay they filled the screen with too many images at once and made it impossible to follow. Plus, why did eveyone clap when Nimoy appeared, HE CAN'T HEAR YOU. JJ did a second rate job and the franchise should take a cue from the Deforest Kelly and die. Traveling through time to have a conversation with yourself, give me a break, first rule of time travel, that can't happen. I'm no longer proud to call myself a nerd, I'm going to have S-- with a real woman.
