I've been watching the show "Heroes" and frequently re-watching old episodes of the "The Tick," and occasionally watching "the 4400" when new episodes of that air, and a running theme in each show is the different kinds of superpowers the heroes (and villains) demonstrate. Something that often kicks around in my head is wondering how people would even know they had certain kinds of more obscure powers if the circumstances never presented themselves.
